What equipment is provided for the scuba diving tour?
All scuba diving equipment is included wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, mask, fins, and weights. You do not need to bring or hire any gear separately. Just arrive at Seeb Marina and we take care of everything.
What is the best time of year for diving at Daymaniyat Islands?
Daymaniyat Islands diving is excellent year-round, but the peak season runs from October to May when visibility is at its best and water temperatures are most comfortable. The summer months (June to September) bring warmer water and are popular for seeing whale sharks and large pelagic species. Our tours run throughout the year.

Is the beach stop at Daymaniyat Islands always available?
The beach stop on the islands is available from November to April only. During the summer months, access to the beaches is restricted to protect nesting sea turtles. Island visit permits for the beach stop are included in your tour price when it is available.

The minimum age for scuba diving on our tour is 10 years old. Younger children may be able to participate in snorkelling instead please contact us before booking to discuss options for younger guests.
Is this tour suitable for nervous or beginner divers?
Absolutely. We welcome complete beginners and nervous first-timers on every tour. Our professional instructors are experienced at working with people who have never dived before. You will receive a full briefing, and your instructor will be with you every step of the way during your guided dive in the water.
Where do I meet the boat for the Daymaniyat diving tour?
All tours depart from Seeb Marina in Muscat. Please arrive by 8:15 AM so you have time for the briefing before the 8:30 AM departure. Seeb Marina is easy to reach from all major hotels and areas of Muscat, and parking is available on site.
Is hotel pickup and drop-off included in the Daymaniyat Islands tour?
Hotel pickup and drop-off is not included in the standard tour price. You will need to make your own way to and from Seeb Marina. Taxis, ride-hailing apps, and rental cars are all easy options from anywhere in Muscat.
What should I bring on the Daymaniyat Islands scuba diving tour?
We recommend bringing a swimsuit (worn under your wetsuit), a towel, sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), a change of clothes, sunglasses, and any personal medications. Food and drinks are provided on board. Leave valuables at your accommodation if possible.

The Daymaniyat Islands are located approximately 18 kilometres off the coast of Oman, around 45 minutes by boat from Seeb Marina in Muscat. The journey itself is enjoyable, with views of the Omani coastline as you head out to sea.
Is the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve a protected area?
Yes. The Daymaniyat Islands were declared a protected nature reserve by royal decree in 1996, making it one of the most strictly protected marine environments in Oman. Fishing, collecting, and any disturbance of marine life is prohibited. This protection is why the marine biodiversity here remains so exceptional.
Can I go snorkelling instead of scuba diving at Daymaniyat Islands?
Our main tour focuses on scuba diving, but please contact us directly if you are interested in a snorkelling option. The waters around Daymaniyat Islands are equally stunning from the surface, and we may be able to accommodate snorkellers on selected departures.
What happens if conditions are not suitable for diving on the day?
Guest safety is our highest priority. If sea conditions are not suitable for diving due to weather, swell, or visibility we will contact you in advance and offer a full rescheduling or refund. The Daymaniyat Islands enjoy excellent diving conditions for the majority of the year, so disruptions are rare.
