Our Story
Exploring the Daymaniyat Islands, Oman — The Right Way
Daymaniyat Tours was founded in 2024 with one simple belief: the Al-Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve is one of the most extraordinary places on earth, and more people deserve to experience it properly.
Founder Khubaib Asif grew up with a deep connection to Oman’s coastline and the marine life that thrives within it. What began as a personal passion for the ocean and the unique underwater world of the Daymaniyat Islands quickly became a mission: to build a tour company that gives visitors a genuine, unhurried, and responsible way to experience one of the Middle East’s most protected marine environments.
The Daymaniyat Islands, Oman sit just 30 kilometres off the coast of Seeb, Muscat, yet for most visitors they remain completely undiscovered. Khubaib saw the gap between how spectacular the islands are and how few people experience them the right way and decided to change that.
From day one, the focus has been on quality over quantity, safety over speed, and genuine experience over a rushed tick-box tour. That has never changed.
What Makes Us Different
Why Guests Choose Our Daymaniyat Islands Tours
There are other boat operators running trips out of Muscat. Here’s why guests keep coming back and why we keep getting recommended.
We Never Overload Our Boats
Most operators fill every seat. We don’t. Our boats hold 20 passengers, but we cap every Daymaniyat Islands tour at 12 to 16 guests maximum. More space on the boat. More room in the water. Less crowding at snorkel sites. A more personal experience for everyone. It costs us revenue. We think it’s worth it.
Our Captain Knows These Waters
Captain Muhammad Sufyan has extensive experience navigating the waters around the Al-Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve. He knows where the turtles surface, where the clearest coral grows, and how to read sea conditions to find the best spots on any given day. That local knowledge makes a real difference on every trip departing Daymaniyat Island, Muscat.
We Take the Reserve Seriously The Al-Daymaniyat Islands
are a protected nature reserve for a reason. The coral reefs, sea turtles, whale sharks, and marine ecosystems that make this place extraordinary exist because the islands have been carefully protected. We operate with full respect for the reserve’s rules, and we educate every guest on responsible behaviour before they enter the water. We are guests on the island and we act like it.
Safety is Non-Negotiable Every Daymaniyat Islands tour
begins with a full safety briefing before departure. Life jackets, first aid kits, and sanitized equipment are provided on every trip. Our team is trained in water safety, and our boats are properly maintained and equipped. You are in safe hands.
