Scuba Diving at the Daymaniyat Islands

The Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve is one of Oman’s best-known scuba diving destinations. Its protected waters contain coral formations, reef fish, sea turtles, rays, moray eels and occasional reef sharks, making it suitable for both first-time divers and qualified scuba divers.

Our morning Daymaniyat Islands scuba diving tour departs from Seeb Marina in Muscat and travels by boat to a dive site selected according to the day’s sea conditions, visibility and guest experience. When conditions are favourable, underwater visibility can reach approximately 15–20 metres, although visibility and marine-life sightings naturally vary.

Complete beginners can join a professionally supervised Discover Scuba experience with one introductory dive lasting approximately 20–30 minutes. No previous diving experience or certification is required. Your instructor will explain the equipment, provide a safety briefing and remain with you throughout the dive.

Qualified divers should book our certified Daymaniyat Islands two-dive trip, which is designed specifically for guests who hold a valid scuba certification.

Full scuba equipment, Daymaniyat reserve permits, boat transfers, sandwiches, snacks, water and soft drinks are included. All diving activities remain subject to weather, sea conditions, medical suitability and the instructor’s final safety assessment.
