Dolphin Sightings and Responsible Wildlife Viewing
Dolphins move freely through the waters around Muscat, so every trip is different. Our crew makes every reasonable effort to locate them, but no particular sighting can be guaranteed.
The captain chooses the most suitable route based on recent dolphin movement, weather and sea conditions. Even when sightings are limited, guests can still enjoy a short coastal cruise and views around the Bandar Rowdha area.
What happens if dolphins are not seen? Review the sighting and refund policy
The scheduled trip is not extended when dolphins are difficult to locate or are not seen during the tour.
No refund is provided when dolphins are not seen because wildlife activity cannot be controlled or guaranteed.
This policy applies only when the tour operates as scheduled. If Daymaniyat Tours cancels because of unsuitable weather or sea conditions, the normal company-cancellation policy applies.
The boat should not pressure dolphins to change direction or remain close to the vessel.
Feeding wild animals can disturb their normal behaviour and should be avoided.
Guests should avoid unnecessary shouting or behaviour that could disturb dolphins and other marine life.
