How often do we see dolphins?
Dolphins are seen on roughly 50–70% of our trips. Never guaranteed: they are wild animals living freely in the sea, not a show.
- If no dolphins come, the trip still lasts about two hours along the coast
- There is no refund and no free second trip when dolphins are not seen
- The captain never chases or crowds the dolphins: they choose how close to come
- Please don’t feed them or shout; quiet watching keeps them near for longer

How much is dolphin watching in Muscat?
20 OMR per adult and 12 OMR per child aged 3 to 12, plus 5% VAT. Under-3s are free. Two adults pay 42 OMR in total; two adults and a child pay 54.60 OMR.
How much is a private dolphin boat?
180 OMR for the whole boat, plus 5% VAT (189 OMR), for up to 18 guests. Private trips can run at another time on request.
What time is the dolphin trip?
Arrive at Marina Bandar Al Rowdha by 09:45. The boat leaves at 10:00 and is back at about 12:00.
Where does the dolphin trip leave from?
From Marina Bandar Al Rowdha in Muscat. It is a different marina from Seeb Marina, where our island trips start.
Will we definitely see dolphins?
No. Dolphins are seen on roughly 50–70% of our trips, but never guaranteed, because they are wild and move freely.

Yes, all ages are welcome. Children 3 to 12 pay 12 OMR and under-3s are free. We have child life jackets; for a baby, bring a fitted infant life jacket if you can, or ask us when booking.
Can pregnant or older guests join?
Yes. You stay seated in the shade and don’t need to swim. On windy days the boat moves more, so tell us before booking if you have any concerns.
How many people are on the boat?
Usually 12 to 15, never more than 18. There is no minimum number of guests.
Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes, and shaded seating.
Is hotel pick-up included?
No. Guests make their own way to Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, where parking is free.
When is the best time to see dolphins?
The trip runs all year. We don’t claim a best season: sightings depend on the dolphins on the day. The captain cancels only if the sea is too rough.
