Join a morning two-dive trip to the Daymaniyat Islands, designed exclusively for certified scuba divers. Depart from Seeb Marina, explore two dive sites selected according to sea conditions and diver experience, and dive with a professional guide in a maximum group of five divers per guide.
The trip runs from 8:15 AM to approximately 1:00 PM and costs 70 OMR per person, excluding 5% VAT. Full scuba equipment, two cylinders, permits, boat transfers, and refreshments are included.
Certified Scuba Diving at the Daymaniyat Islands
Explore the protected waters of the Daymaniyat Islands on a morning scuba-diving trip created specifically for certified divers. The experience includes up to two guided dives at sites selected on the day according to sea conditions, visibility, certification level, and the experience of the group.
Guests meet at Seeb Marina at 8:15 AM, with the boat departing at 8:30 AM. The journey to the Daymaniyat Islands normally takes around 25–30 minutes. Each dive usually provides approximately 25–35 minutes of underwater time, although the exact duration depends on depth, conditions, the dive plan, and each diver’s breathing-gas consumption.
Open Water divers may dive to a maximum depth of approximately 18 metres. Divers holding suitable advanced qualifications may dive deeper when conditions and the guide’s assessment allow, up to a maximum operating depth of 30 metres. All dives remain within each participant’s certification limits.
Groups are kept manageable, with a maximum of five divers per guide and up to ten certified divers on the boat. Full scuba equipment, two air cylinders, a professional dive guide, Daymaniyat Islands permits, boat transfers, sandwiches, snacks, water, and juice are included.
From November through April, the trip normally includes time for an island or beach stop when permits and operating conditions allow. From May through October, island landing is not permitted, but guests can relax on the boat or snorkel after diving if time and energy allow.

Morning Certified Diving Trip Itinerary
Meet at Seeb Marina at 8:15 AM for a morning certified-diving trip to the Daymaniyat Islands. The boat departs at 8:30 AM and returns at approximately 1:00 PM. Dive sites and timings may change according to sea conditions, diver experience, and the dive team’s decision.
Meet the dive team at Seeb Marina for certification verification, diver-information checks, and equipment preparation. Guests should provide their certification level, approximate number of logged dives, and date of their most recent dive. A brief supervised refresher or skills assessment may begin here when required.
Depart from Seeb Marina and travel by boat towards the Daymaniyat Islands. During the journey, the guide will provide a safety briefing and explain the planned dive sites, maximum depths, and buddy arrangements.
Complete the first guided dive at a site selected according to sea conditions, visibility, certification level, and diver experience. Open Water divers remain within approximately 18 metres, while suitably certified divers may dive deeper when conditions and the guide’s assessment allow.
Relax on the boat during the required surface interval and enjoy sandwiches, snacks, water, and juice. The guide will review the first dive and prepare the group for the second dive.
Enter the water for the second guided dive, normally at another suitable Daymaniyat Islands dive site. The final site, depth, and route are chosen according to conditions, certification limits, and the needs of the group.
From November to April, guests normally have time for an island or beach stop when permits and operating conditions allow. From May to October, island landing is not permitted, so guests may relax on the boat or snorkel if they still have the energy.
Begin the return journey to Seeb Marina after completing the morning diving programme. Arrival is expected at approximately 1:00 PM, although the exact return time may vary slightly depending on sea conditions.
Please note: All times are approximate. Dive duration, surface intervals, dive-site selection, and island access may change according to weather, sea conditions, diver air consumption, certification level, and the dive team’s safety assessment. The trip includes up to two dives.
Marine Life You May See While Diving
The protected waters around the Daymaniyat Islands support a wide variety of marine life. Depending on the dive site, season, and sea conditions, certified divers may encounter turtles, rays, moray eels, barracuda, cuttlefish, octopus, nudibranchs, and colourful reef fish.
Some dive sites may also offer opportunities to see larger schools of fish or occasional reef sharks. Marine life activity varies naturally, and every dive can provide a different experience.
Sightings cannot be guaranteed because the animals are wild and move freely throughout the reserve. The dive team selects suitable sites based primarily on safety and conditions rather than promising a particular species.
Divers should maintain a respectful distance, avoid touching coral or marine animals, and follow the guide’s environmental instructions throughout the dive.

All marine animals are wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
From November to April, the trip normally includes time for an island or beach stop when permits, weather and operating conditions allow.

Certification and Diver Requirements
This trip is available only to certified scuba divers aged 14 years or older. Certifications from recognised international diving agencies are accepted.
Every guest must provide a physical or digital certification card before the trip. The following information must also be supplied during booking so the dive team can organise an appropriate and safe dive plan:
- Certification level
- Approximate number of logged dives
- Date of the most recent dive
- Nitrox certification, when requesting Nitrox
A physical or digital dive log may be requested. When a log is not available, the instructor may consider the information provided by the diver, but final participation, dive depth, and group placement remain at the instructor’s discretion.
Refresher requirements
Divers who have not dived for two years or more must complete a brief supervised refresher and skills assessment at the beginning of the trip. This is included in the 70 OMR trip price.
A refresher may also be recommended for divers with limited experience, including those with fewer than approximately 60 logged dives, or for anyone who does not feel fully confident. Divers may request the refresher themselves.
Completing a refresher uses part of the available trip time. The experience, therefore, includes up to two dives, depending on the assessment, available time, sea conditions, and instructor approval.
Fitness and safety
Certified divers must disclose any medical condition, medication, injury, recent illness, or health change that could affect safe participation. The dive team may request medical clearance or refuse participation when safety is uncertain.
Scuba diving is not available to guests who are pregnant or believe they may be pregnant. All divers must arrive sober and able to swim independently.
Optional Diving Extras
Dive Computer
A dive computer can be provided for an additional 5 OMR per diver for the day, subject to availability.
Nitrox
Nitrox can be arranged for divers holding a valid Nitrox certification. The charge is 5 OMR per cylinder. Two Nitrox cylinders for two dives cost 10 OMR per diver.
Nitrox is not carried as a standard inclusion and must be requested in advance. Divers requesting Nitrox must provide proof of the appropriate certification.
Equipment sizes should be provided during booking whenever possible. Guests may bring their own personal diving equipment, but the trip price remains unchanged.
Daymaniyat Islands Dive Sites and Conditions
The Daymaniyat Islands offer several dive sites with rocky reefs, coral areas, sandy sections, and varied underwater terrain. The exact sites are selected on the morning of the trip according to sea conditions, visibility, currents, diver experience, and certification levels.
The trip normally includes dives at two suitable locations, but specific dive sites cannot be guaranteed in advance. The dive guide makes the final decision based on safety and the conditions observed on the day.
Certified Open Water divers remain within their qualification limit of approximately 18 metres. Divers with suitable advanced qualifications and experience may dive deeper when conditions permit, up to the trip’s maximum operating depth of 30 metres.
Underwater visibility, current strength, and water conditions vary naturally throughout the year. Every dive plan may be adjusted according to the group’s experience, individual air consumption, and the guide’s safety assessment.
Important: All divers must follow the planned depth, buddy system, and instructions provided by the dive guide. A deeper certification does not automatically guarantee a 30-metre dive.
Seasonal Island and Beach Access
From November to April, the itinerary normally includes time to stop on an island or beach after diving, provided weather, permits, timing, and operating conditions allow. Guests can relax, explore the permitted area, or enjoy the scenery before returning to Seeb Marina.
From 1 May until the end of October, island landing and beach access are not permitted during the turtle-nesting season. The diving trip continues during this period, but guests remain on the boat after completing their dives. They may relax or snorkel from the boat when time, energy, and conditions allow.
Note: Island access is subject to official regulations and safe operating conditions. The dive team may change the itinerary when necessary.
Important Information for Certified Divers
This trip is designed exclusively for certified scuba divers aged 14 years or older. All guests must provide a valid physical or digital certification card before the trip.
During booking, each diver must provide their certification level, approximate number of logged dives, and date of their most recent dive. This information helps the dive team organise suitable groups, depths, and dive plans.
A dive log may be requested. When a log is unavailable, the instructor may consider the information supplied by the diver. Final participation, group placement, maximum depth, and suitability remain at the instructor’s discretion.
Refresher Requirements
Divers who have not dived for two years or longer must complete a brief supervised refresher and skills assessment at the beginning of the trip. This refresher is included in the trip price and does not carry an additional charge.
Less-experienced divers, including those with fewer than approximately 60 logged dives, may also be advised to complete a refresher. Any certified diver who does not feel fully confident may request one.
The refresher takes place during the scheduled trip and uses part of the available programme time. Completing two dives, therefore, depends on the assessment, available time, sea conditions, and instructor approval.
Depth and Dive Limits
Open Water divers are normally limited to a maximum depth of approximately 18 metres. Divers with suitable advanced qualifications and experience may dive deeper when conditions permit, up to a maximum operating depth of 30 metres.
All dives remain within each participant’s certification limits. The guide may choose a shallower depth according to sea conditions, visibility, currents, group experience, or individual diver performance.
Each dive normally lasts approximately 25–35 minutes. Actual underwater time depends on depth, breathing-gas consumption, sea conditions, and the agreed dive plan.
Health and Medical Fitness
Certified divers must disclose any medical condition, medication, recent illness, injury, or health change that could affect safe participation.
The instructor may request medical clearance or refuse participation when there is uncertainty about a guest’s fitness to dive. Guests are responsible for providing accurate information before the trip.
Scuba diving is not available to guests who are pregnant or believe they may be pregnant.
Alcohol and Fitness to Dive
Divers must arrive sober, well rested, and fit to participate. Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances will not be allowed to dive, and no refund will apply.
All participants must be able to swim independently, follow the buddy system, and comply with the instructor’s safety instructions.
Flying After Diving
Guests should avoid flying or travelling to a significant altitude for at least 24 hours after completing the diving trip. Please consider this requirement when planning flights, mountain trips, or other high-altitude activities after diving.
Diving Insurance
Personal diving insurance is recommended but is not included in the trip price. Guests are responsible for arranging suitable travel or diving insurance when required.

Diving trips operate only when weather and sea conditions are considered suitable. Dive sites, depths, timings, and the order of activities may change according to the dive team’s safety assessment.
The trip includes up to two dives. If a guest voluntarily decides not to complete the second dive, no partial refund applies. If the second dive cannot operate because of sea conditions, a refund of 5 OMR will be provided.
Marine-life sightings, underwater visibility, and specific dive sites cannot be guaranteed.

The certified diving trip costs 70 OMR per person, excluding 5% VAT.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is payable on the trip day.
Payment can be made by debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or cash. A secure payment link can be provided by WhatsApp or email.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.
Any optional extras already arranged specifically for the guest may also be non-refundable.
Weather and Operator Cancellation
Diving trips operate only when weather and sea conditions are considered safe.
If Daymaniyat Tours cancels the entire trip because of unsafe weather, sea conditions, operational problems, or official restrictions, guests will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
The dive team may change dive sites, depths, timings, or the order of activities without cancelling the trip when conditions require it.
Second-Dive Refund Policy
If a guest voluntarily chooses not to complete the second dive, no partial refund applies.
If the second dive cannot operate specifically because of sea conditions, a 5 OMR refund per affected diver will be provided. No replacement dive will be offered.
A shorter dive caused by individual air consumption, certification limits, diver comfort, safety concerns, or instructor assessment does not qualify for a refund.
Late Arrival and Missed Departure
Guests must arrive at Seeb Marina by 8:15 AM. The boat is scheduled to depart at 8:30 AM.
Guests who arrive late may miss the departure. The boat cannot normally wait when doing so would affect permits, other guests, or the diving schedule.
Missing the trip because of late arrival is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
Participation Conditions
Guests must provide valid physical or digital proof of scuba certification before the trip.
Divers must also provide their certification level, approximate number of logged dives, and date of their most recent dive.
The instructor has final authority over participation, group placement, maximum depth, refresher requirements, and the dive plan.
Guests who provide incorrect certification or health information, arrive unfit to dive, or refuse safety instructions may be prevented from participating. No refund applies when participation is refused because of inaccurate information, intoxication, unsafe behaviour, or failure to meet the trip requirements.
